India with its rich variety of natural flora and fauna is a favorite destination for nature lovers. This tour takes you on a trip to three different national parks in Central India.
Your journey starts with a short visit to the world famous Khajuraho Temples. These temples, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, are among the most beautiful monuments of India. After this wonderful experience, proceed to Bandhavgarh National Park. Located at the Vindhya Hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968. Enjoy the game drives, guided nature walks and the optional tour to a hilltop fortress.
After this, drive to Kanha Tiger Reserve, eulogized in the tales of Champion and Brander, and later in Schaller’s epic, “The Deer and The Tiger”. Explore the park through guided nature walks and game drives for the next three days of your stay.
Proceed further to Pench National Park, located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, and is named after the Pench River which flows through this area. It is also the setting of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”. Spend the next two days of your stay exploring the park and its natural beauty. Apart from tigers, it has many different species of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and around 210 different species of birds.

DAY 1 ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi today, with room held from 12 noon.
DAY 2 DELHI / KHAJURAHO
Morning flight to Khajuraho. Afternoon tour of the celebrated Chandela temples and the Tribal Museum.
DAY 3KHAJURAHO / BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
An early start for the seven hour drive to Bandhavgarh, the start of the adventure through Central India. Late afternoon game drive.
DAY 4 & 5 BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
Two days of explorations with early morning and afternoon game drives, guided nature walks and an optional walking trip to the imposing hilltop fortress.
DAY 6 BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK / KANHA NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, drive 8 hours to Kanha Tiger Reserve (Camp Shergarh). A seven hour drive through the heart of Central India to Kanha, eulogised in the tales of Champion and Brander, and later in Schaller's epic, "The Deer and The Tiger". Late afternoon game drive.
DAY 7, 8 & 9 KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Three days of explorations with early morning and afternoon game drives, and guided nature walks.
DAY 10 KANHA NATIONAL PARK / PENCH NATIONAL PARK
A six hour drive to Pench, which Kipling explored passionately and where the Seoni wolf pack once roamed. Late afternoon game drive.
DAY 11 & 12 PENCH NATIONAL PARK
Two days of explorations with early morning and afternoon game drives, and guided nature walks, in one of India's last great stands of teak forest.
DAY 13 PENCH NATIONAL PARK / NAGPUR / DELHI
A day at Pench before the two hour drive to Nagpur and the evening flight to Delhi.
DAY 14 DEPART DELHI
Depart for onward destination.
