This tour is all about the beauty of this infinite diversity. Whether you view the Mughal monuments in Delhi and Agra, the royal architecture of Rajasthan, experience the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, the business capital of India or marvel in the natural beauty of picturesque south India, you’ll experience it all….
After a leisurely visit to the Lutyen’s architectural panorama, Qutub Minar and the Humayun’s Tomb, proceed to Agra. Visit the beautiful Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and the Agra Fort. On your way to Jaipur, visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. A full day tour of Jaipur will take you to Amber Fort, Museum of Hand Printing, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Johari Bazaar.
Then proceed to Udaipur, where you’ll visit the City Palace, the Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery at Fateh Prakash Palace and the Maharana’s collection of vintage cars. Enjoy a late afternoon boat cruise on the Lake Pichola and a walk through the old city.
Proceed to Mumbai for a tour of the Fort Area, Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive, Chowpatty, Dhobi Ghat, Malabar Hill, Mani Bhawan and the Elephanta Caves. From Mumbai, the business capital of India, fly south to Cochin, the commercial hub of Kerala.
Cochin, also known as “Queen of the Arabian Sea”, has a lot of tourist attractions. You’ll visit St. Francis Church, Tomb of Vasco da Gama, Dutch Palace Museum, Bishop’s House and Pardesi Synagogue. A day’s drive into the highlands of Western Ghats will bring you to Idukki, known for its mountains and dense forests. Walk through a spice plantation and an organic tea plantation and refresh yourself. Also visit an ayurveda medicine making facility.
Drive east to Madurai for a visit to the world famous Meenakshi temple. This ancient city temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Meenakshi. Proceed to Chennai for a visit to Fort St. George, St. Andrew’s Kirk, Cathedral of Saint Thome, precinct of Mylapore, Fisherman’s Cove, and Dakshinachitra.

Day 1 ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi today, with accommodations held from 12 noon.
Day 2 DELHI
Morning at leisure. Afternoon tour of New Delhi, viewing Lutyens architectural panorama before visiting Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb (B)
Day 3 DELHI / AGRA
This morning, drive four hours south to Agra. Afternoon tour of the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays) and Agra Fort (B)
Day 4 AGRA / FATEHPUR SIKRI / JAIPUR
Optional tour of the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays) at sunrise. An hour away on the road to Jaipur, visit the deserted medieval city of Fatehpur Sikri and then on to jaipur, four hours away (B)
Day 5 JAIPUR
Full day tour visiting Amber Fort, Museum of Hand Printing (closed Mondays/holidays), City Palace and Jantar Mantar observatory, before an early evening walk through Johari Bazaar (B)
Day 6 JAIPUR / UDAIPUR
Early morning flight to Udaipur. At leisure till late afternoon motorboat cruise on Lake Pichola, followed by a walk through the old city (B)
Day 7 UDAIPUR
Morning tour of the City Palace, the Durbar Hall and Crystal Gallery at Fateh Prakash Palace, and the Maharana's collection of vintage cars. Afternoon at leisure (B)
Day 8 UDAIPUR / MUMBAI
Early morning flight to Mumbai. Afternoon tour of the Fort area, Prince of Wales Museum (closed Mondays/holidays), Marine Drive and Chowpatty, Dhobi Ghat, Malabar Hill and Mani Bhawan (B)
Day 9 MUMBAI
Morning excursion by motorlaunch to the Elephanta Caves (closed Mondays), an hour's journey each way. Afternoon at leisure (B)
Day 10 MUMBAI / COCHIN
Morning flight to Cochin. Late afternoon harbour cruise, before attending a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance (B)
Day 11 COCHIN
Morning tour of Fort Cochin visiting St Francis Church and Tomb of Vasco da Gama, Dutch Palace Museum (closed Fridays/holidays), Bishop's House (closed Thursdays/holidays), Pardesi Synagogue (closed Fridays/Saturdays)
Day 12 COCHIN / IDUKKI
A day's drive into the highlands of the Western Ghats, pausing enroute for a rice boat cruise through the backwaters (BL)
Day 13 IDUKKI
Local tours include a spice planation walk, and visits to an organic tea plantation and an ayurveda medicine making facility (B)
Day 14 IDUKKI / MADURAI
A five hour drive east to Madurai. Afternoon tour of the iconic Meenakshi temple and the markets around it (B)
Day 15 MADURAI / CHENNAI
Morning flight to Chennai. Afternoon tour of India's fourth largest city visiting Fort St George, St Andrew's Kirk, Cathedral of San Thome, Government Museum & Art gallery (closed Fridays/holidays) and the precinct of Mylapore (B)
Day 16 CHENNAI
About an hour south of Chennai, visit the UNESCO World Site of Mahabalipuram. Lunch at Fisherman's Cove before a tour of Dakshinachitra (closed Tuesdays), a cultural and architectural exposition on southern India (BL)
Day 17 DEPART CHENNAI
Depart Chennai for onward destination
